Kateryna Tytar received temporary protection in Ireland in March 2022 following the outbreak of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Originally from Pryluky in the Chernihiv region, she had lived in Kyiv since 2006, where she obtained a higher legal education and developed professional, organisational, and communication skills, which she later successfully applied in her community work in Ireland.
